Advertising Awards
The Advertising Awards are now closed for entries. The aim of these Awards is to recognise the best advertising and marketing communications across a range of media, in arguably the most challenging of all industry sectors. As always the judges are looking primarily for creativity, clarity and impact, but in an effort to recognise effectiveness as well, the Judging Panel for 2010 will be made up of a larger weighting of client representatives to creative experts.
As well as changing the balance of the panel we are revamping the format that the Judging day itself will take. The Judging day for 2010 will now consist of two distinct groups, each with their own chair who will debate the entries and form a shortlist. The panel will come together to debate this shortlist and decide on the winners for each category by an electronic blind voting system and the results will be known only to the organisers until the Awards night. Lucian Camp from Tangible will remain as the Overall Chair to offer guidance where needed.

- This category rewards the most impressive financial advertisement that has appeared on UK television or radio in 2009.
- Entries should be submitted on a CD or DVD only
- If you are submitting more than one advertisement in an entry, each one will be judged separately and so each one must be entered separately with its own entry fee.

- This category is for advertisements aimed at financial advisers or other professionals working in the Financial Industry. The entry should have appeared in trade newspapers or industry magazines.

- This category is for advertisements aimed at the consumer. The entry should have appeared in national newspapers or consumer magazines.

- This category recognises the best mail pack directed at IFAs or consumers.

- This category rewards the best use of outdoor financial advertising.

- This premier award will go to the most consistently outstanding work of 2009 that is directed at the Financial Industry.
- Entries must contain at least three related advertisements that need not necessarily have appeared in the same medium. Please note that each campaign of three or more images is counted as one entry and therefore only one entry fee is required.
- Please also submit an image of your entry when making your online entry which will be used on the on-screen graphics on the night.

- This premier award will go to the most consistently outstanding work of 2009 that is directed at consumers.

Work may be entered into any of the listed categories. The same entry may be submitted into as many categories as appropriate, and will be considered each time as a separate and individual entry and as such will be subject to a separate entry fee of £85 + VAT
Please note that in order to be eligible all entries must have appeared or are about to appear for the first time between January 2009 and January 2010.
Once you have completed your online entry please send samples of your advertisement on an A3 board, clearly labelled with:
Company name
Agency name
Advertisement / Campaign title
Unique entry number (you will be provided with this upon completion of entry)
